Who We Are
Ndoreketa means I SPEAK.
At the end of one of our JCI signature courses - Impact- we were asked what one thing we could start doing right away to create positive impact. At that time, I had just started sharing daily reflections with a small group of friends. I was not too sure it would count for anything but the way my friends insisted on it when I slacked made me realise it was creating a difference. So that Sunday afternoon I committed to make my reflections more deliberate and let them teach, inspire, empower and motivate others. It may not bring world peace, solve economic solutions or industries but this is what I do. Through written and spoken word, I help people overcome the challenges in the way of their goals one day at a time.
So...hie my name is Taffy........Ndoreketa......I speak
Our logo is one of the Adinkra symbols - Mate Masie which means "What I hear, I keep" - a symbol of wisdom, knowledge and prudence
The implied meaning of the phrase "mate masie" is "I understand". Understanding means wisdom and knowledge, but it also represents the prudence of taking into consideration what another person has said. Most of what we know, we learnt from listening to others through spoken or written word then reflected upon it to give it our own meaning. As such , in as much as we speak, we acquire it from listening to others too.

I am still not sure how I convinced him to agree to do the Friday story for the blog but I am sure glad he is doing it. There are days when I just want to just go through whatever is happening in my life and not talk to anyone but Ra is always on my neck to make sure #IAWG happens and for that I am grateful
